Benton Harbor ‘drug trafficking network’ busted with over 6 pounds of meth, fentanyl, cocaine

Two Benton Harbor residents are facing multiple felony charges after a drug bust earlier this month.

Michigan State Police announced Thursday that 300 grams of fentanyl, 446 grams of cocaine, 48 grams of crack-cocaine, 2,000 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 8 tablets of methamphetamine have been seized from two Benton Harbor homes.

A pistol, ammunition and additional evidence of drug trafficking were also seized.

Benton Harbor residents Condarius Tripplet, 34,  and Andrea Singleton, 29, were arrested and lodged in the Berrien County jail for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, cocaine, crack-cocaine, methamphetamine, child abuse 4th degree, and multiple felony firearm charges. Tripplet was also arrested on several outstanding felony warrants, according to MSP.

Southwest Enforcement detectives, along with Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety (BHDPS), MSP and the DEA executed two search warrants on Tuesday, November 8 in the city of Benton Harbor. The warrants were issued after several months of investigation into a drug trafficking network. One apartment was raided in the 600 block of 8th Street. Another house was raided in the 300 block of E Britain Avenue.
