The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the number of new COVID-19 cases is up to 13,043 for the week. That’s an average of one-thousand-863 a day. There were 181 people who lost their lives in the past week from COVID-19. Over two-point-nine-million have contracted the virus since March 2020.
