Governor Whitmer has Michigan’s business community buzzing following her State of the State address. Detroit Regional Chamber Vice President of Government Relations Brad Williams has the group’s response to her speech. Williams says the best way forward is working with members of both political parties.
“I think overall, it’s an encouraging night for the business community,” says Williams. “We look forward to working with leaders on both sides of the aisle to move some of these priorities forward.”
The DRC is a bipartisan group of business leaders and owners that endorse both Republicans and Democrats during election season. The group endorsed Whitmer over challenger Tudor Dixon leading up to the 2022 election.
