The Acorn Center for the Performing Arts has a new executive director.
Indiana native Ashley Magnus is the new Executive Director at the Acorn Center for the Performing Arts in Three Oaks. The role is responsible for the continued growth of the non-profit performing arts center.

Magnus was most recently the General Director of the Chicago Opera Theatre. Before that, she held several leadership roles at the Utah Symphony and Opera.
With plans for producing and hosting more than 140 shows this year, Magnus says keeping things running at the Acorn is a team effort. She sees her role as leading efforts on fundraising, partnership and community engagement development, and supporting and bolstering programming efforts.
As part of her five-year plan, Magnus said she includes to build on The Acorn’s strong foundation as a draw for audiences and performers from the region and nationally.
