A new poll shows there’s wide support for gun reform legislation being considered by state lawmakers. Glengariff Group founder Richard Czuba says it’s contrary to everything that we hear that voters are polarized on these issues.

“They are anything but polarized. They are very unified, and we can start with the three bills proposed and making their way through the Legislature. Background checks are supported by 88% of voters, red flag laws are supported by 75% of voters, and safe storage laws are supported by 80% of voters.”

Czuba says the survey of 600 voters was conducted last week, or two weeks after the shootings at Michigan State University where three students were killed and five others injured.
