State Releases COVID Numbers For Saturday

Michigan is reporting 7,341 additional cases of COVID-19 for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday combined. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services did not report COVID numbers for Thursday and Friday. The three day total released Saturday works out to an average of 2,447 per day. The state’s coronavirus website says Michigan has had a total of 477,269 cases since the pandemic started. 254 COVID deaths were reported for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, bringing the state’s total to 12,029. The Berrien County Health Department’s COVID-19 dashboard for Saturday shows the county with a total of 8,494 COVID cases and 159 COVID deaths since March. On Saturday, the county had 29 non-ICU hospitalizations and 7 patients in the intensive care unit. For Saturday, Van Buren County reported a total of 3,755 COVID-19 cases since March. The county has had 70 deaths.
