Marcelo Aranda has been fired from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy after being accused of attacking a paralyzed man while off-duty in Ingham County. A passenger in Tyler Lueken’s vehicle recorded video of the incident, with Aranda saying he was not hurting him.

Lueken says there were road rage incidents between the two of them three weeks ago, and he pulled off the highway at a rest stop trying to get away from Aranda. The officer, however, also pulled into the stop and came up yelling to Lueken’s vehicle, and then pinned him under the steering wheel. Aranda is facing misdemeanor charges, and Lueken was arrested for allegedly driving drunk.
