Don’t forget the Whirlpool Appliance Sale to benefit the United Way is this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, Whirlpool will sell off brand new appliances at discounts of up to 40%.
The United Way of Southwest Michigan’s Jennifer Tomshack told us this month they’ll have everything from refrigerators to ranges to stand mixers.
“It’s an opportunity to get fantastic appliances at deeply discounted prices,” Tomshack said. “There’s going to be over 350 appliances, which are going to be there at the premises. A lot of people have experience with shortages and getting products at certain stores, and in this particular case, everything’s going to be there so you can get what you’re looking for.”
The appliances are discontinued models or surplus, but they’ll all brand new.
The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Benton Harbor Technology Center on Riverview Drive.
For an additional $100, buyers can have their purchases delivered within a 15-mile radius, and all of the major appliances come with a full one-year warranty.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit the United Way of Southwest Michigan.
