Will Donald Trump appear on the Michigan ballot in November of 2024?

A Michigan Claims Court judge has thrown out a request by the former president to throw out a lawsuit that would keep him off the ballot. Political activist Robert Davis, who brought the suit, says the final decision will come at a hearing in Grand Rapids next month.

“That’s what’s going to be determined at the November 6 emergency hearing in which the court wants to hear full arguments from all sides and is giving Trump and his legal counsel an opportunity to present their arguments,” Davis said.

Davis argued Trump is disqualified from being on the ballot because of his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, encouraging a mob to attack the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

The judge also ruled Trump can bring his own lawsuit against the Michigan Secretary of State if she denies him a spot on the ballot.
