The results are in. The North American Car, Truck, and Utility vehicles of the year were announced at the M-1 Concourse in Pontiac Thursday.
The Car of the Year finalists were the Honda Accord, Hyundai Ioniq, and the Toyota Prius. The winner was the Toyota Prius.
Truck of the Year finalists were the Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado EV, or Ford Super Duty. The winner was the Ford Super Duty.
The Utility Vehicle of the Year is the Kia EV9.
The 2024 North American, Car, Truck, and Utility of the year awards are given out each year by 50 automotive journalists in the U.S. and Canada. They’ve been doing the awards since 1994.
