A crash between a Dodge Journey and a Honda Civic has claimed the life of a Berrien Springs man. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old Gregory Toney was driving the Honda when it collided with the Journey, and he died at Spectrum Health Lakeland. The driver of the Dodge, a 34-year-old Galien woman, was taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland and her 12-year-old son also suffered minor injuries. Deputies have not determined who was at fault and add they do not know yet if drugs or alcohol were factors. The crash happened at Cleveland Avenue and Browntown Road in Weesaw Township just before 7 p.m. last night.
