Michigan has 1,132 new COVID-19 cases for Friday. The Department of Health and Human Services says 38 deaths were recorded. The totals since March 2020 are now 882,189 cases and 18,853 deaths.
In southwest Michigan, Berrien County cases are up by 13 to 13,733 with 263 deaths, up by one. Cass County cases are up by 4 at 4,737 with 71 deaths and Van Buren County is up 4 cases to 6,559 and deaths are at 111.
